Women in Power

 Women  gender has always had an  historically disavantage  behind of men figure.

Once, an stupid man said (He had a theory about the superiority of men) that the women´s brain is smaller than the men´s brain. When this guy died, the doctors took out his brain, and they realized that  it was a very small brain.  However, many of the women have demonstrated similar skills and personal qualities wich have helped in their careers.

Women have determined the course of events and the forms of human culture. We originated, founded, governed, created great art, etc. But  we are  ignorant of these women, because the mission of information in different societies according to female role in public life, diplomacy, medicine, religion, arts, etc.

So, we need a remedial history that reconstructs the female dimension of the human experience and achievement.

 Nowadays, we have more tools to fight the sexism, that is thanks to mass media, mainly internet. It does not only allow the joining of women´s groups, but of many different one, which has been concieved like minority.  In this kind of websites it's important focus them  to reach equal rights and opportunities for women, especially the extension of their activities into the social and political life.

The miners

The thirty men rescued of the San Jose mine are an example about the precarious and  unsafe conditions of labour in the mines. This is an important point, because mining industry is the most important profitable area  in Chile, so is necessary that our country supervised  to the firms, because it´s a very risky activity that involved human lives, which the state must to protected (because  live and  personal safety are Constitutional Right).  That is why is not  enough   that state created  security rules, he  must  have control about the implementation and inspection of  the rules that have been announced.

 The rate of death for   mining accident  is  an average around  thirty-four people per age (between two thousand to two thousand nine), I mean, the same number that the miners rescued.  This rate is very high  if we considered that the mining activity is the main source of  job in the north of our country.  Therefore, is an urgent need to improve the systems and procedures to protect the life integrity and dignity pf the workers, not only in mining, but for all workers in Chile.
Now, owners of the San Esteban mining company suspended all activities after the collapse of their mine San Jose and two hundred fifty people are unemployment. So, it is important to make a balance between to create jobs and  the labour conditions.
Even with proper legislation in place, businesses in Chile are prone to ignore regulations, and with eight hundred thousand businesses in the country it is impossible to monitor them all.  The supervision of safety and heath in mines is of vital importance. The inspection of mines by inspectors designated fof the purpose by the competent authority.

                                                    

I would like to go to Italy

I´d really like to go to Italy sometime in the next five or six years,  in a trip on holidays .I´ve always wanted to go there. I love Italian food - especially pizzas, pastas and ice cream- and I think it´s got incredibles sceneries when you can visit.

Particulary, I would like go to the capital,  Roma, for many reasons. First, the weather it´s OK this is very important for me, I don´t like feel colder or warner.  Second, I think that the people it´s nice and happy, so it´s a good place where to make friends. Finally,  it´s got everything: great parks, great museums, great churchs. It´s a really old and historical city - it´s the nucleus of civilization-, so it´s got lots of amazing old buildings, so I find the culture and language really interesting.

So, if I go to Italy,  I would think that I eat good food, then I visit many  museums -included the Vatican  and Capitole museums- and the Roma´s coliseum and I looking for a good place for stay there - I have chat´s friend who´s from Rome, so maybe one day I´ll go and visit him-.

I would like learn Italian language before that I go to this country, that´s my trip be easier. Now, I´m trying to learn, and think that it´s not very difficult, because is similar to Spanish language.

My last semester´s experiencie

I´m in my fourth year, actually (in my eight semester), So the next year I will finalize at University  in de Law school. The career isn´t difficult for me, but it´s a bit boring, because the classes aren´t connected whit the real world. So, in this moment I´m concentrated in learn to English language.
Well, I was in two previous semesters and I feel that I learned a lot. The English language was very difficult for me, because I didn´t have good opportunities to bring near whit him, so these courses were my first instance to learn this. It´svery important for me, because de English language is a essential tool actually.

Last semester worked in  many activities for example, we wrote in ours blogs (all Thursdays),  many activities in pairs (with my classmates) orally and in writing, which we talked about differents subjects, activities with the English´s book and many listenings. So, it was a interactive course.

I think that my English has been improved considerably. Now I understand many texts , newspapers and websites in English, I watch movies or TV in English and I speak better. The life is easier when you know English, that´s why I want to learn this language and this course it´s a great opportunity to practice and improve.

Sleep

One of my favorites hobbies is  sleep. I love to sleep a long time, but I cann´t, bcause I have read to much for the University and sometimes I cann´t even sleep at night.

Some people -especially doctots- think that sleep should be to relax the body and is unhealthy more than eight hours in the case of adults. Doctors recommend it and they say sleep  has benefits for the body  that accentuating the growth and rejuvenation of the inmune, nervous, skeletal andmuscular systems. For example, during the rest, the brain process and keep all information obtain along the day and eliminate insignificant details. Also serves to prevent tomors, heart attacks or depression.

I like to sleep, because I have many many sophisticated dreams. I can have many dreams in one night and I can remeber most of them.  Scientific researchs say that in the last  stage of sleep called REM (rapid eye movement) is where dreams can be made more  elaborate, allthough people can dream any stage of  sleep.

I like my dreams, because they are creative stories that creates my subsconscious, is like watching a movie.  Also when I am dreaming  I think that I am living the reality and I always show in my dreams, then I am as an actress.

I have a very artistic dreams, they have many colors and it show many people that I know, por example my friends, my family, etc.  they are usually all dressed and the places that I dream  are very rare, because are very bigs and spacious.

I would like recourd my dreams, so I think maybe write in a copybook, because the may  offer go a good stories.

Somepeople say that dreams have interpretations of  ehat you feel, I think that this maybe be this way, but en concret my dreams not always to express that my really feels.

my favorite otograph

This photograph was took a year ago, in April, when my friend and I went to the rock festival called "rock carnaza" in Mapocho station. We went to see the show of  our favorite singer called Manuel García, and others chilean singer, like Fernando Ubiergo and Camila Moreno. We like this music, because this is a music very critical of society and of the moderns times and sounds good. This people are artits, because not only sing, too play instrument like guitar. And after the show, we all went to drink beer y then to dance salsa to the neighborhood Brasil. It was a fantastic day.

We took many pictures that day, most were funny photos. In this phot,  we sit in the stands in a row, for to give a special touch.  A friend -the last girl that show in this picture- climbed the photos to facebook, in an album  photograph called "my bestfriends".

I like this photograph, because can  not be most artictic phot that I taken me, but is special  to me, because  it are my best friend from school. We met eight years ago, and we are friends all the time. We try to get together when we can. That is very difficult, because we are all university students , and then we are always busy.

this picture is very especial for me, because we never take photographs together. we were at school, the photographic cameras  were not very popular yet and  are now popular, so we can to take many photographs. But I think  this is the most beautifull picture that  we together.

I like this photograph because it is a memory that will forever be a nice and great day.

Franz Ferdinand

My favorite kind of music is  indie rock  I love this music, because it cheer me up. I listen to  indie rock  all the time, especially when  I go to University and when I study, but  I not concentrate  so I  don´t haven much time to listen to music while I study.

My favorite band is Franz Ferdinand. They are scottish group that  formed in 2001.They chose their name in honor to Archduke  Ferdinand, who was assassinate before to begin the first war world.

I meet this group  seven years ago and I loved it. I really like the sound´s  electric guitars, the  voice of the singer and their lyrics. I listen to their music in my MP4 and internet, but I preffer MP4 - is better than  internet -because I can to take go anywhere I like, so I listen to Franz Ferdinand all the time. I went go see their show to "Festival de Viña" , in 2006, and recently  I went go a concert  in "Arena Santiago". It was fantastic, because I like live concerts, but this was too expensive for me.

  Obviously, my  favorite piece of music is of  this group. its name´s  "No you girls". This song is about of  feeling´s boys for girls and what she unknow about feel in minds of boys when they to seduced and boys don´t care less the feelings of girls, his indifference.

I like the word of this song, because say the truth about seduction and too I like very much its sounds and rhythm. When I listen to this song in the concert of  "Arena Santiago" I thought  it was to sounded better in all the show.
