The "scupulture aérostatique"

My favorite piece of art is a photograph. It was taken in Paris, in May 21th 2007 in honor of Ives Klein. He was a french artist considered  an important figure in post war European art. However, he never  painted, but he made an artistic exhibitions.
In 1957 he made his first monochrome exposition, which he called  "International Klein Blue". When he taken this exhibition to Paris, he flung at sky thousand-one  blue ballons, which he called the "scupulture aérostatique" The piece was a huge success.
I like photographs in general, because  it captured  imagens of important and beautyfull moments. But I  like this photograph in particular, because I think about that is  more a photograph, is a different concept of art, a message of freedom and is not an art static. This is important, because art is not only a paiting or picture, but also it can be things that happens everyday in a show, por example.

Klein, in his blue epoch, made this show he take in his mind  the concept of abstraction, connected with spiritual and experience values. I think that is a great idea, but the fotograph is not just limited for this concepts, because if any people look this photo, lots say that is a expression of freedom.

When I look this photograph, I feel relaxed and I forgot of my problems and I am think in other world, I´m flying between clouds, like a one  ballons more.
